Frequently Asked Questions
Here are a few things our new clients usually have questions about.

General Questions
1. What services do you provide at Behavior Wise?
Behavior Wise offers comprehensive behavioral support for children, focusing on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Our practice provides thorough assessments to understand each child's unique needs, one-on-one therapy sessions to teach skills and improve behaviors, and parent training to empower families. We also conduct supervision of therapy programming and facilitate social skills group sessions to enhance interpersonal interactions. Our aim is to create personalized treatment plans that foster growth and development in a supportive environment.
2. Are you an in-network provider with my insurance?
Behavior Wise is an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans. We do provide an estimate of costs upfront and encourage parents to check with their insurance company regarding potential reimbursement for out-of-network services.
3. What should I expect during an ABA assessment?
During the ABA assessment, a specialist will observe and evaluate your child's behavior, learning style, and interactions over a structured session. This will culminate in a detailed report that outlines the findings and offers tailored recommendations for therapy.
4. How can I access my child's information and invoices?
Parents can access their child’s chart, invoices, and superbills through our Web ABA portal. This feature allows you to review information and submit billing for potential reimbursement from your insurance provider.
5. What is your cancellation policy?
To ensure that all clients have access to appointments, we require that cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time or no-shows will incur a fee of $150. This policy helps us support our providers and maintain a structured schedule for therapy.
6. How often should my child attend sessions?
Consistent and structured weekly sessions are essential for effective treatment. Regular attendance allows for the reinforcement of skills and strategies taught during therapy, maximizing the benefits for your child.
7. Can I ask questions or discuss my child's progress with the therapist?
Absolutely! Communication is key to success. Parents are encouraged to ask questions during or after sessions, and we offer regular opportunities for discussions about your child’s progress and any concerns you may have.
